There are some great outerwear options that have arrived in recent weeks for guys just as our need for outerwear sets in.  Key pieces from Timo Weiland and WRK will keep you dry and warm all winter long, as well as looking fashionable and current.

Timo Weiland updates lightweight quilting with leather details across the yoke on the Elliot Vest.  Quilting is also featured in the Carlos Bomber (the bomber trend is a great one to invest in as we’ll see it well into next year), along with more of a mixed media approach including leather and knit sleeves.

Keep the weather at bay with a lightweight coated cotton jacket from WRK.  Resists rain without being overly heavy.  A great option for the finicky weather of the Northwest!

Baby, it’s cold(ish) outside…

Fall is upon us and what better way to greet the season that update your outwear.  Some new lines are gracing the racks of Veridis this autumn and their offerings are sure to inspire.  Heritage brands are all the rage this year and a great, affordable one to take a look at is Schott.  Founded in 1913, this all-American brand creates classic outerwear for both men and women.  The Cafe Racer features Icelandic cowhide in a slightly slimmer profile than their authentic motorcycle jackets.  Lined in red plaid, this jacket offers an interior pocket and four outer zip pockets.  Zips at the cuffs and a snap closure at the neck complete the look.  This classic racer style will break in over time, becoming perfectly suited to you.  The line is made in their New Jersey facility.Another new line to Veridis this fall is Eubiq.  This great line out of New York features classic menswear with a little twist.  We’ve received two great winter coats: one in a mocha herringbone that hits just above the knee with front flap pockets and button details at the cuff, the other (pictured below) in charcoal wool hits mid-thigh and features side slit pockets, a notch collar and slightly diagonal button placket.  Both are fully lined.

Also not to be missed from Eubiq: a gorgeous lightweight wool/cashmere shawl collar sweater with a kangaroo pocket!  Another great layering piece for what is said to be a cold winter ahead.
