The usual suspects color-wise are present this fall, with a few welcome surprises.  Yes, you’ll see the camels, the charcoals, olives and chocolates but you’ll also see pops (or more) of bright rich colors: greens, crimsons, orchids, and royals.  Tone on tone dressing was big for fall, layering on colors within the same family made for a really modern and very bold presentation.  If you’re not into the head to toe look go for a big pop with a brightly hued dress, or shirt/tie combo.   It stands out against the sea of neutrals but doesn’t necessarily overwhelm.

Below are a couple of the fall dresses we’ve received that really embody this saturated color trend.  A beautiful thick silk dress from Anlo wows in a rich emerald hue.  Waisted and with beautiful drape, the color does most of the talking with this dress, though the little flounce over the one shoulder adds just a touch of whimsy.

Susana Monaco’s richly royal hued dress in the indestructible supplex fabric is another eye-catcher.  A modest boat neck in front opens to an x-back whose straps reach around to self tie under the bust.  This is a another great option for any end of summer fetes you may have lined up but will shine with tights and a cardigan once the mercury drops.
