A Sunset in a Shirt

Oh warm summer breezes, soft evening light, don’t leave us yet…  Luckily, summers here in the Pacific Northwest usually stick around through September so we have a few more beautiful summer sunsets ahead of us.  If the brief season just isn’t enough for you consider this lovely button-down from Arnold Zimberg to help you transition.  Soft oranges, a hint of yellow, and a cool sea blue offer a lovely homage in this large scale plaid to the incredible sunsets we get to enjoy up here.  Again, Zimberg’s tops offer lots of details to enjoy: contrast stitching, box pleat pockets,  and contrasting patterns underneath the collar and inside the cuffs.  Roll up your sleeves while you still can and add some pink this sartorial sunset.  Once the weather does cool, enjoy this long sleeve top under your navy sweaters and chocolate tweeds.  A great piece with the colors to suit this transitioning time of year.

  1. Lovely shirt. I love how menswear can also be worn by women. I think that this shirt would look great undone with either a denim skirt for the summer over a white vest top or with some trousers in the winter. Perfect.
