Cynthia’s Summer

In the world of fashion, summer is an often overlooked season.  It’s squeezed in for just a couple weeks in May and June before fall begins in July.  That said, there are some great pieces that come to life during this brief period.  The few “summer” deliveries we have planned are now arriving and feature great separates and dresses to carry you through the actual season.  Cynthia Vincent’s take on the season incorporates fresh bright colors, light floaty fabrics, and just a touch of lace.  The result? Easy pieces to layer now until the weather finally warms up enough for them to stand alone.  The above chiffon tank in daisy shines bright with a textured zig zag woven in lurex thread.  Wear it with your summer whites, or pair it with your favorite denim for an easy solution to your dressing dilemmas.  The  zig zag theme continues with this easy day dress in a bright medley of colors.  Hinting at the tribal trend, this silk dress features a tie at the waist and a crossover v-neck that snaps in the middle to help maintain your modesty.  Back yard barbecues and trips to the farmers market are calling!Lace peeks into the collection with this beautiful pleat back silk v-neck tank.  Cut asymmetrically, the hem is slightly lower in the back, creating a very flattering silhouette, while the lace detail adds a little texture and drama.  More dramatic still is the black silk and lace slip dress.  The lace (over a nude lining) acts as a bandeau all the way around the chest while cut-outs at the side add a shot of skin and an extra dose of drama on an otherwise simple dress.
